P960k worth of cannabis in brick form found in Kalinga town

Eight bricks dried marijuana leaves pegged to reach P960,000 were found Sunday morning abandoned at a lot along the national road in sitio Balangabang, Dangoy, Lubuagan, Kalinga.

Lubuagan policemen recovered the MJ weighing at least 8,000 grams from a lot adjacent Gary Guilay’s house tucked inside a blue plastic gallon.

Guilay told policemen that he saw a suspicious item near his house, prompting him to immediately seek the police to verify the item.

The MJ bricks were inventoried by the police with the presence of Brgy Kagawad Rodney Aranca before it was taken to the Lubuagan police station.

In Baguio City, a security guard at a huge mall chain was caught Sunday afternoon right where he is on duty.

Clint Ambrosio Macachor,34, a native of Manila, sold a sachet of shabu to an undercover government agent prompting his immediate arrest.

Police said Macachor has long been tailed for his drug dealing.

Single, security guard of RJC Agency at SM Baguio City, native of Manila and presently residing at San Antonio Village, Aurora Hill Baguio City. Seized from him were an 0.8 gram shabu worth P2,000.00 but being sold at the illicit drug market at P5,400 and three more sachets of shabu weighing more or less 2.9 grams worth P19,720.00.

The security guard was taken by police to the jail while awaiting indictment and eventually his trial for drug sale, which is non-bailable, and drug posession.
