Strawweight champion Joshua Pacio lead four other Team Lakay members in ONE Championship’s rankings which was released last October 15.

Ranked players in the famed stable are strawweight contender Lito Adiwang at number five, flyweight Danny Kingad at number two, Kevin Belingon at number two in bantamweight and Jenelyn Olsim at fifth in women’s strawweight.

ONE’s strawweight number one contender is Yasoke Saruta who fell to Pacio during the third and final meet up of their trilogy in the ONE Revolution held last September 24 where the Lakay member concluded the trilogy with a first round technical knockout.

The strawweight hierarchy shows Bokang Masunyane at second, followed by Hiroba Minowa and former champion Alex Silva, respectively, all ahead of the Thunderkid Adiwang.

Flyweight king is Adriano Moraes followed by the Mighty Mouse Demetrius Johnson, Kingad, Yuya Wakamatsu, Kairat Akhmetov and Reece Mclaren.

Bantam king Bibiano Fernandes is followed by John Lineker, Belingon, Yusup Saadulaev, Fabricio Andrade and Shoko Sato.

Women’s straw queen Xiong Jing Nan while Tiffany Yeo is the top contender with Michelle Nicolini, Angela Lee (atom), Ayaka Miuri and Lakay’s very own Olsim.

Adiwang will headline the NextGen III event on November 26 against Jarred Brooks who he was supposed to meet last April but the match was postponed when the Benguet boy caught Covid 19.

Adiwang (13-3) lost to Minowa in October last year via split decision, a match that has been considered controversial after the Thunder Kid and the referee failed to see the Japanese tapping out. It was only during a replay that the third ranked Minowa is seen tapping out as Adiwang tried to submit him.

Adiwang bounced back with the win last September by beating China’s Hexi Getu via unanimous decision.

Olsim will next face Malaysian grappler Jihin Radzuan in One’s tape-delayed NextGen II on Nov. 12 at the Singapore Indoor Staidum.

Olsim was supposed to face Grace Cleveland for an alternate bout in the Grand Prix, has an undisclosed medical condition forcing the latter out of the fight.

Radzuan has previously lost to Filipino fighters, Zamboanga and team Lakay’s Gina Iniong.

Olsim has won her last two fights and under Team Lakay. She last saw action against Bi Nguyen lasr August 27 and won via unanimous decision. She submitted in the 41 second mark of the third round Maira Mazar in her debut with Team Lakay last March 19.

Her last fight was Aug. 6, Caitlyn Mcewen where she lost via submission, armbar, in the 59th second mark of the first round.

The featherwight king is Than Le, while Ok Rae Yoon reigns in the lightweight division after beating Christian Lee in the ONE Revolution last September 24. Former two time champion Shinya Aoki is second.

Angela Lee has a stranglehold on the women’s atomweight belt with Filipina Denice Zamboanga as number one contender.

ONE Championship official athlete rankings are determined by an independent panel composed of sports media members and industry experts following each event.

Ranking is based on wins and losses, most recent performances and quality of competition.
