Kuya Michael, a miner, has never missed contributing to the PAG-IBIG fund.
For nine years, it has been his partner, especially when there’s a calamity or when there’s a need to repair the house.
According to Michael Tamayo, PAG-IBIG member, “The company is the one that enrolls us in PAG-IBIG so we can get benefits and save for the future.”
Now that his child is in college, he encourages them to also contribute to PAG-IBIG.
“I just tell them to apply to PAG-IBIG and see the benefits they can get,” he added.
People like Kuya Michael can be considered PAG-IBIGfluencers, and they can win prizes.
This is all thanks to the launch of the PAG-IBIG One Plus One Raffle Promo.
“For every ‘plus one’ that a member recruits, they get a chance to win. The influencers are the target, and they’re the ones who help increase the number of winners,” Meriam Pamittan, Area Head of PAG-IBIG, explained.
To join, members just need to register on the PPC Registration System to get a unique promo code.
This will help active members encourage new members to join PAG-IBIG or reactivate their accounts, making them eligible for the “plus one” promo.
Apart from being a member, they must also regularly contribute.
“What we’re doing in PAG-IBIG is just the beginning. The prize is just an added benefit. We want them to be aware of the benefits and how it helps them,” said Philip Raymund Salem, Branch Head of PAG-IBIG Baguio.
When a “plus one” is drawn, the PAG-IBIGfluencer automatically wins.
The 3rd prize is 10,000 pesos, 25,000 pesos for the 2nd prize, and 50,000 pesos for the 1st prize for the inaugural and preliminary draws.
For the Grand Draw, the 3rd prize is 100,000 pesos, the 2nd prize is 250,000 pesos, and the 1st prize is 500,000 pesos.
The promo runs until November 2025.
The inaugural draw will be held in January.
