To address the long-standing flooding problem in Lingayen’s Capitol Complex, the Pangasinan provincial government has begun constructing a large-scale flood control project as part of its broader redevelopment plan.
Under the leadership of Governor Ramon V. Guico III, the project includes building new drainage canals, installing floodgates, and expanding existing waterways within the complex.
As the infrastructure development continues, the government expects not only to solve the flood issue but also to provide a more modern and efficient environment for Pangasinenses.
Meanwhile, the province also celebrated a milestone in its sports program with the first-ever pickleball tournament held at the Narciso Ramos Sports and Civic Center.
Over 150 players from different towns in Pangasinan joined the tournament, which introduced the fast-rising sport that combines elements of tennis, badminton, and table tennis.
Through this, we hope to encourage more young people to participate in sports and stay active.
