Governor Ramon V. Guico III personally distributed financial aid and monoblock chairs to barangay officials in the first district of Pangasinan during an event held at the Alaminos City Gymnasium.
Governor Guico, along with Vice Governor Mark Ronald Lambino and other provincial officials, led the initiative to support barangay officials who serve as the frontline of public service in their communities.
“This is a huge help, especially for those of us without stable jobs. Thank you, Governor, for your assistance,” said Ulysses Aquino Jr., a barangay councilor from Pilar, Bolinao.
Hale Gamboa, barangay captain of Viga, Agno, also expressed gratitude, saying, “This is a big help for us barangay officials.”
Aside from financial assistance, the provincial government also provided monoblock chairs to each barangay to support their meetings and community activities.
In his speech, Governor Guico thanked the barangay officials for their dedication and hard work in serving their constituents. Vice Governor Lambino also expressed his support for the initiative, emphasizing the administration’s commitment to helping local government units.
The event was attended by Congressman Ramon “Monching” Guico Jr. and other provincial officials, who showed their support for the governor’s advocacy.
Governor Guico assured the attendees that his administration will continue to provide assistance and support to barangay officials in their efforts to serve the people of Pangasinan.
