PANGASINAN PROVINCIAL HOSPITAL STAFF, STRENGTHEN HEALTH SERVICE EFFORTS

BY VALERIE ANN DISMAYA

Medical staff at the Pangasinan Provincial Hospital have intensified their commitment to delivering quality healthcare services, fully supporting the programs of Governor Ramon V. Guico III aimed at improving the province’s public hospitals.

In line with the governor’s initiatives, healthcare workers have strengthened their efforts across various departments.

Recognition was also given to long-serving hospital staff, including Dr. Judy Cagampan of Pangasinan Provincial Hospital.

“I’ve been here for many years. I started as a contract of service until December 2015, when I was appointed Medical Specialist II. Last week, under Governor Guico’s administration, I was promoted to Medical Specialist III,” Cagampan shared.

The current administration has also begun moves to turn Pangasinan Provincial Hospital into a training hospital, a long-standing plan that previous administrations had not fully realized.

“It’s a dream of many previous administrations to make PPH a training hospital. Now, for the first time, full support is being given. Before, when we were inspected for accreditation, equipment was always an issue. This time, whatever the department needs — consultants, residents — the governor provided,” Cagampan added.

She expressed her heartfelt gratitude to Governor Guico for his unwavering support of healthcare workers.

“On behalf of the OB department and personally, I express my utmost and sincerest thanks for the full support you’ve given, for promoting us, and for granting new appointments to fulfill our dreams,” she said.

With this support, the provincial government continues to expand healthcare programs and services for Pangasinenses.
