After Congress voted on Vice President Sara Duterte’s impeachment on February 5, the Articles of Impeachment were forwarded to the Senate.
The problem is, the Senate did not even discuss it before the 19th Congress went on break.
But even before the impeachment issue arose, 72-year-old Tatay Rudy had already been closely following the conflict between the Duterte and Marcos families.
Although he is already retired, he still cares about the country’s affairs.
This is why he cannot help but worry about what will happen to Vice President Sara Duterte’s impeachment case.
President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. had previously stated that he had no role in the impeachment case against VP Sara.
Despite this, the President believes that the impeachment will not affect the country’s economy.
Meanwhile, Vice President Sara Duterte spoke last week about the impeachment complaint filed against her.
However, she remains unfazed and continues to perform her duties.
But while the impeachment complaint remains on hold, the upcoming elections are further fueling the conflict between the Duterte and Marcos families.
