Narcotics agents arrested three men in Tabuk, Kalinga and confiscated some P13.4 million of marijuana in brick form Wednesday.
In what could be the biggest haul for the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency Cordillera yet, Benedict Camia from Imus, Cavite, Augusto Galicia from Antipolo City, Wenceslao Galicia, Augusto Galicia and Aduardo Patega from Makati City were arrested while transporting said drugs aboard a Toyota Innova.
PDEA Kalinga operatives led by Agent Rodelia Macad said the three men aboard the car with plate number NGF 5992 were trying to transport some 112,000 grams in 112 compacted brick form of dried marijuana leaves.
The arrest was made possible with the help of operatives from the Police Regional Office – Cordillera, the Tabuk City Police Station, the Crime Investigation Detection Group Kalinga Apayao.
