Aside from the personnel of the PNP and AFP, members of Civilian Volunteer Organizations also play a role in maintaining peace and order in Pangasinan.
As a token of appreciation for their dedication to service, the provincial government provided them with financial grants.
On January 29, Governor Ramon V. Guico III and Vice Governor Mark Ronald Lambino personally handed over the financial grants to the dedicated volunteers serving in the 5th and 6th districts of the province.
The provincial government aims to support CVOs, who serve as first responders in emergencies and other urgent situations.
Meanwhile, Vice Governor Mark Ronald Lambino emphasized the importance of the program in strengthening the relationship between the government and volunteer organizations.
Also in attendance were First Spouses League of Pangasinan Chairperson Maan Tuazon-Guico, Congressman Ramon “Monching” Guico Jr., Board Members Chinky Perez-Tababa and Nikolai Sison, Political Consultant Jesus “Isong” Basco, and other representatives from various local government units.
This annual activity is proof of the provincial government’s appreciation for the efforts of CVOs in serving the community.
