Rapist step father, Cagayan Valley’s most wanted, caught

Cagayan Valley’s most wanted, Michael Marcos, 36, was cornered in Barangay Nanguilattan, Peñablanca, Cagayan Tuesday morning.

Marcos was hunted for 160 counts of rape. His victim? His 13 year old step daughter.

Andrea (not her real name) bared that his step father started sexually abusing her when she was only 13 years old while she was sleeping inside her room sometime in September 2019.

Since then, she was repeatedly sexually molested by the suspect four times a week until June 25, 2020.

She further revealed that the suspect threatened to kill her if she will tell the incident to anybody.

The victim together with her aunt sought the Peñablanca town police last July 3, 2020 to tell the harrowing ordeal.

Based on the excerpt of the police blotter, the victim was left under the custody of the suspect when her mother worked abroad in October 2017.

Upon receipt of said report, the victim was advised to undergo genital examination at the Municipal Health Office.

Police said the suspect will be turned over to the court which issued the arrest warrant against Marcos.
