REMOTE VILLAGE IN ATOK, BENGUET, RECEIVES SOLAR LIGHTS FROM GEORGE PUNASEN’S GROUP

Narrow, bumpy roads shrouded in mist, this is what George Punasen’s group had to traverse to reach the remote village of Balangbang Taway, Sayangan, Atok, Benguet.

Their mission, to bring light to the residents of this area through solar-powered lights.

With the help of residents, the group also set up the lights.

Identifying the primary needs of residents is essential to ensure that the assistance provided is impactful.

In addition to this village, George’s group has already brought light to several other remote areas in Benguet.

They continue to visit other towns to provide further assistance such as rice, food packs, and other necessities.
