Saint Louis University is the country’s top producer of Radiologic Technologist after it garnered an 89.06 percent passing rate, five top notchers of which two are from Kalinga.
SLU saw 57 of its 64 examinees hurdled the May 2021 with Noli Almazar Samonte topping it with a grade of 90.80, the SLU – Louisian Page on Facebook announced.
Tied at third place are Ruselle Eliza A. Cuaresma and Russel John G. Paulo with grades of 90, while Charimar Nadine C. Ordonio and Azriel Zoe P. Paquito finished sixth and 10th with grades of 88.80 and 87.40, respectively.
The SLU – Louisan Page added: “Congratulations to the new Louisian Radiologic Technologists! Mabuhay and thank you for making us proud!”
Cuaresma is from Pasil, Kalinga and Ordonio is from the municipality of Pinukpuk and two of the 776 passers from the 1,916 examinees this year that made their placement among the top 10 extra special for the people of Kalinga.
In the Tabuk City Kalinga Facebook Page, the local government of Tabuk extended its congratulation to the Kalinga board topnotchers.
That is on top of a local lass from the city topping the X-Ray Technologist licensure examination wherein 21 passed out of 77 examinees.
The top placer is Mayshell Baliling Basiag of barangay Dilag of Tabuk City, who took her course from the International School of Asia and the Pacific—Tabuk branch.
Basiag finished with a score of 84.75 percent to top the 2021 board exams.
Tabuk Mayor Darwin Estrañero was one of the most elated Tabukeño as he extended his congratulations saying, “you serve as examples to your peers for your noteworthy achievements amidst the adversity and difficulty brought about by the pandemic. May your accomplishments serve as inspiration for young people of Tabuk to dream and aim high!”
Meanwhile, Gail T. Quinto of Tangadan, San Quintin, Abra finished tied for second in the radiologic exams.
The Lorma College from San Fernando, La Union scored 90.20 during the examinations held last May 16 and 17. Saint Jude College – Manila student Kenneth Luciano finished with the same score as the Abra lass.
The Abra Province Facebook page called Quinto’s feat something Abreños should be proud of.
The scholar from the Overseas Welfare Agency and San Quintin scholar who worked as a contract tracer before going to Manila for examinations is also a proud Abreña who persevered in her studies to finish among the top radiologic graduates of the last year.
