SM FOUNDATION OPERATION TULONG EXPRESS AIDS FAMILIES IN BAGUIO

SM Foundation, Inc. (SMFI) with SM Cares, SM Markets and SM City Baguio with the support of City Social Welfare and Development (CSWD), join its efforts in helping afflicted caused by Super Typhoon Egay along with heavy monsoon rains through its Operation Tulong Express mission last July 31. With the heavy rains poured over the region by Super Typhoon Egay, widespread flooding and landslides has caused in some parts of North Luzon. As one of the first responders during the flood-stricken communities through SM Foundation’s Operation Tulong Express actuated in giving immediate assistance to hundreds of affected families in identified areas of Barangay Pacday Quinio-Asin Road, Barangay San Luis and Victoria Village.

Baguio City Social Welfare and Development officers Ruth Bioyo and Floredeliza Dematera expressed their sincere gratitude to SM, highlighting the company’s proactive approach in reaching out to the community during difficult times. SM’s Operation Tulong Express specifically focuses on disaster response and relief efforts, promptly mobilizing resources to assist affected communities during calamities.

The distribution of Kalinga Packs headed by Assistant Mall Manager Lani Delovino and volunteer employees and agencies from SM City Baguio.
