It has been 15 years since Tatay Jun retired from his job at the bank.
Even though he receives a pension and lives alone, making ends meet every day remains a challenge.
This is due to the continuous rise in the prices of goods.
Despite this, he still considers himself content with President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.’s leadership.
In the Social Weather Stations survey conducted from December 12 to 18, results show that 59% of Filipinos remain satisfied with President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.’s administration.
Meanwhile, 23% are dissatisfied, while 17% are undecided.
According to the president, this serves as both inspiration and a challenge to continue serving the Filipino people.
According to the same SWS survey, Visayas recorded the highest satisfaction rate, with 65% approving of the administration.
However, inflation remains a major challenge for Filipinos, with the government’s perceived lack of action on the issue receiving a “poor” rating in the survey.
In his statement, Executive Secretary Lucas Bersamin emphasized that the government’s standard for public service remains the improvement of Filipinos’ quality of life.
