As Christmas draws near, the Bayambang plaza in Pangasinan seems to transport you to a sci-fi universe.
Their Christmas decorations are inspired by the movie Star Wars.
Thanks to digital projection mapping, the plaza feels out of this world.
From stormtroopers to droids and even spacecraft replicas, the display is truly mesmerizing.
Bayambang residents couldn’t help but quote lines from the movie in excitement.
“We want to show everyone that Bayambang is a place where imagination becomes reality,” said Mayor Niña Jose-Quiambao, Municipality of Bayambang, Pangasinan.
Pangasinan Governor Ramon V. Guico III was also impressed.
“I would like to congratulate the LGU of Bayambang again; you have set the bar for all LGUs to follow,” Governor Ramon V. Guico III commended.
To make Christmas even merrier, the municipal government distributed 40,000 Noche Buena packages to families.
“Christmas is about family, and most importantly, about our love for Jesus Christ,” Mayor Niña added.
As the famous line from Star Wars goes, “May the Force be with you” this Christmas.
