A unique café in Baguio City is drawing fans not just for its drinks, but for its devotion to one of the world’s biggest pop stars—Taylor Swift.

The Swiftie Café is designed and inspired by the American singer-songwriter, offering customers a taste of her music through themed drinks and pastries.

The brainchild of Jerold, a long-time Swiftie, the café features a menu where drinks are named after popular Taylor Swift songs like “Reputation,” “Afterglow,” “Midnight Rain,” and “Fortnight.”

For Jerold, the café is more than a fan tribute, it’s a celebration of Swift’s artistry and how it shaped his personal journey.

“This is all about her artistry, not just her image. I grew up listening to her music since high school—Teardrops on My Guitar, back in 2008 or 2009. Her songs helped me navigate my identity and adult life,” Jerold shared.

Aside from the drinks, customers are also drawn to the café’s design, which captures the aesthetic and vibe of Swift’s discography.

For fans like Aira Benito, stepping into the café feels like stepping into a fantasy.

“It’s amazing to see this concept come to life. It really feels like a comfort zone, especially when you’re going through something,” Aira said.

Even the café staff are embracing the Taylor Swift spirit.

Kitchen staff member John Louie shared how the experience was new at first but has become enjoyable. “It’s different hearing Taylor’s music while working, it’s a unique experience,” he said.

Barista Darwin Nieva added, “It feels good to serve something that customers love and crave. It makes me happy.”

The Swiftie Café isn’t just a place to cool down on a hot day, it’s a space that celebrates creativity, comfort, and connection through music.
