TOURISTS, FLOCK TO BAGUIO CITY AHEAD OF PANAGBENGA’S GRAND PARADES

BY: ANGELICA ARQUERO

Although the grand parades of Baguio City’s Panagbenga Festival will take place this coming weekend, tourists have already started arriving as early as Monday, February 17.

One of them is Jeronica, who traveled with her friends to the city.

They are just some of the tourists who chose to arrive early to avoid the massive influx of visitors.

With the upcoming two grand parades, several hotels in Baguio City are already fully booked.

Despite the expected surge of visitors, the Department of Tourism is reminding the public to be cautious of accommodation scams.

According to estimates by the Baguio City Police Office, around 160,000 spectators are expected this year.
