TRAFFIC FLOW ON KENNON ROAD, RETURNS TO NORMAL AFTER ASPHALT WORK IN CAMP 2, TUBA, BENGUET

BY: VANESSA BUGTONG

On September 7, 2024, a section of Kennon Road in Camp 2, Tuba, Benguet collapsed.

After six months, the damaged road was replaced with a bridge.

Beside it, a temporary road was also built.

The problem? Some vehicles struggled to pass through the alternative route, as observed by Tatay Elmer.

At times, vehicles would get stuck going uphill, worsening traffic congestion.

To address this, Kennon Road was temporarily closed last Sunday for asphalt work on the alternate route.

This was done to make vehicle passage smoother.

Now, traffic flow is back to normal.
