BY: JOSE ROBERT INVENTOR

In just a few weeks, it’ll be a new year.

And people are asking, what are the trending hairstyles for 2025?

According to hair expert Chased Ducusin, flat and striking colors are out, while volume, toned-down reds, and browns are in.

“When hair is too straight, it can look dull and boring. We prefer adding texture.”

In his salon in Baguio City, Chased Hair, preparations are already underway for clients who want new hair transformations.

He noted that at least 15 customers visit daily since December started.

“Actually, December is always super busy. It’s a happy problem, though,” Ducusin mentioned.

Warm brown, copper mahogany brown, deep copper, and soft autumn chestnut are the trending hair colors for 2025, subtle yet striking.

Layered and volumized curls will also be a go-to style next year.

For architect Allaiza, this is the look she chose.

“It’s a way of showing people your new vibe for the new year, like saying, ‘This is me for 2025,” said Allaiza Valdez, Salon Client.

Bride-to-be Gen from Makati opted for a vibrant hair transformation for her prenup shoot, an idea she got from TikTok.

Gen Oscares, Salon Client, stated, “Actually, I got my hair done for my prenup shoot. I wanted it to look good in the photos.”

Here are some of the Chased Hair Tips for 2025: Connect with the right salon, Communicate with your hairstylist, Choose the right color suitable for your skin tone, Regularly visit your salon for treatments, and most importantly, be confident.

“You need to choose a color that suits you and make sure to maintain your hair with regular treatments,” Ducusin reminded.

For 2025, whether you go for a bob cut or long, volumized curls, remember to take good care of your hair.
