When police arrived, they found the twin brothers lifeless on the Benguet-Nueva Vizcaya Road in Dupax del Norte, Nueva Vizcaya.

Their motorcycle had crashed into an oncoming van at around 3 PM on February 10.

According to police investigations, the twins were on their way back to school when the accident happened.

Since they were not wearing helmets, they sustained severe head injuries, which caused their deaths.

The van driver initially fled but later surrendered to police in Santa Fe, Nueva Vizcaya, around 10 AM on February 11.

Police noted that the area is not considered accident-prone.

The van driver, whose identity has not yet been disclosed, will face charges of reckless imprudence resulting in double homicide and damage to property.
