Two guards of Casaldo Lyndon Bacmor Security Agency stationed at Porta Vaga Mall received commendations from the Regional Civil Security Unit – Cordillera Wednesday at the Easter College Gym.
Guards Yvonne Murphy and Angelo Cariaga received the Medalya ng Papuri or Blueguards Commendation Medal from RCSU – Cordillera chief PCol. Romeo Balubal, Jr. during the special ceremony which also served as meeting between security agencies and the Police Regional Office – Cordillera office.
“We find a way to give recognition to our security guards who provide good service,” said PMaj. Michael Maca-ey, chief Security Agency Guard Supervision – Cordillera.
“Basta magnada ang performance give it tom (If they perform well, give report to us),” said Maca-ey before the open forum he moderated with security agency owners and representatives.
Maca-ey likewise said that the award was given to boost the morale of the guards.
Murphy and Cariaga were commended after returning cash and jewelries to a client of the Porta Vaga Mall sometime in December.
Cariaga, however, was unable to attend the awards since he went home to his province.
Meanwhile, a certificate of recognition was given to Philippine Society for Industrial Security International, Inc. – CAR chapter during the same ceremony by the newly installed RCSU – Cordillera chief Balubal.
The recognition was given for its constant support to RCSU activities particularly Police Community Partnerships with Security Industry in the region.
PSISI – CAR president Casaldo Bacduyan, LC Bacmor owner, received the citation for the organization.
