Two UB studes in top 10 of nursing exams, school among bests

Two University of Baguio graduates were among the top 10 finishers of the 2021 nursing licensure examinations even the school is among the best performing with many of their alumni passing, the Philippine Regulation Commission reported.

Joel Patrick Santiago was one of the seven examinees to finish seventh with grades of 87.2 while Mariane Abegail Siojo Casimina was in the company of six others in the top eight with grades of 87.

Kiarra Belle Abante Poblador of Siliman University topped the examination where 6,086 passed out of 11,828 takers during the November examinations with grade of 89.40 percent.

Two females finished second with Francine Beatrice Liao Cruz of Southville International School and Colleges and NatelieJoyce Mariano of Medici di Makati College garnering a grade of 88.90.

Two males both from Manila are ranked third with grades of 88.20. Sharing the honors are Bryan Emmanuel Agosto of University of the East Ramon Magsaysay Memorial Medical Center and John Paul Francisco of Pamantasa ng Lungsod ng Maynila.

Six have identical grades to finish fourth, a sole Cebu Doctors University is top 5, four share top six; 10 are in the top 9 and nine are share top 10 honors.

UB is also one of the best performing schools at fourth with 64 of its 80 examinees passing or a rate of 80.

University of Santo Tomas is the best performing school with all of its 58 examinees passing followed by Adventist University of the Philippines with 58 of 64 and Mindanao State University – Marawi City coming in third with 68 passers from 81 takers.
