In Apayao Province, Claveria – Calanasan – Kabugao Road was closed to traffic due to landslides.
In the town of Tineg, Madegnac and Apayao rivers overflowed, this has blocked vehicles from reaching the upper Tineg barangays, wherein strong water currents flow from the mountains.

Authorities are currently waiting for the river levels to subside.
in Boliney, five barangays are isolated, this is due to the rising water levels of the Ikmin river.
The water level of Tineg – Pang-ot and Pang-ot – Lagayan River in Lagayan is being monitored, this is due to the rise in water levels caused by the rain from typhoon Gener.
In the Mountain Province, mudslides have occurred in the Tiktik section of Baguio – Bontoc Road and the Faniyas Section of Mountain Province – Nueva Vizcaya Road.
As a result, only one lane is passable on these roads.
In Besao, the Toong Section of Sagada – Besao – Quirino, Ilocos Sur Road is also one lane passable due to landslides.

According to PAGASA, even though typhoon Gener is exiting, the public should not let their guard down, this is because a typhoon with the international name Pulasan is expected to enter the Philippine Area of Responsibility.
Rainfall from the extension or tail of typhoon Gener is also expected, particularly in the Eastern part of Luzon, which will continue to bring rain until tomorrow.
As the typhoon exits the country, PAGASA has lowered the Tropical Cyclone Wind Signal Number 1.
The Office of Civil Defense is still assessing the damage left by the typhoon in the region.
