Federation of Filipino-Chinese Chambers of Commerce and Industries Inc. (FFCCCII) inaugurated a two-classroom school building in Baguio City

Over 70 Grade 3 students of Loakan Elementary School will benefit from the 2-classroom building donated by the Federation of Filipino-Chinese Chambers of Commerce and Industries Inc. (FFCCCII) which was inaugurated Wednesday, December 6, 2023. This project led by FFCCCII’s Vice Chair; Dr. Lily Lim is meant to at some point solve the problem of classroom shortage which for her causes students not to receive quality education. During the short program after the inauguration, she vowed to help more schools in Baguio City by donating more classrooms. “Education is about students. For your future.”, she stated in her speech. Mr. Peter Ng, the President of the Baguio Federation of Filipino-Chinese Chambers of Commerce Inc. (BFCCCI) affirmed their commitment to helping schools in the city for he believes that having proper education would lead to a better future. “Pag educated kita, pag lumaki sila, they are the future of the nation”, Ng said. This project is also in partnership with Baguio City Congressman Mark Go’s office. In an interview with Mrs. Soledad Go, who represented him during the event, stated that these types of donations and projects would greatly impact the city. Furthermore, Loakan Elementary School’s Principal, Mr. Valeriano B. Accad extends his utmost appreciation and gratitude to the groups and individuals behind the project as their students don’t have to use some classrooms of the Senior High School building.
