P158K worth of shabu in search operation

BAGUIO CITY- Baguio City Police Office personnel confiscated a total of P158,000 worth of drugs during a joint search warrant police operation on Monday morning issued against a known drug personality.

BCPO Director Col.Allen Rae Co said a joint operation with Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) agents who implemented a Search Warrant at No. 59 Upper Malvar, Trancoville, Baguio City issued by judge Maria Ligaya Itliong-Rivera against Victor Vladimir Reyes, a high-value individual and listed as Regional Target Drug Personality.

The operation ensued after series of anonymous complaints regarding the illegal drug activities of the suspect were sent to the PNP Hotline “Ireport mo kay Tsip” and to the City Mayor’s Office.

Co said, the search resulted to the confiscation of 10 sachets of suspected shabu weighing about 10 grams with DDB value of P68,000.00; one (1) marijuana brick weighing more or less 750 grams with value of P90.000.00 and assorted drug paraphernalias.

All items were found on Reyes’ bedroom who was not present at the time of the search operation but was witnessed by several village officials.

Markings and inventory of seized pieces of evidence were witnessed by Prosecutor Oliver Prudencio and barangay officials.

The confiscated illegal drugs has an aggregate weight of about 760 grams.
