First visually-impaired bar passer receives plaque of recognition from SM City Baguio

Atty. Emocling poses for the camera with his family while holding an Outstanding Excellence plaque of recognition from SM City Baguio.

Atty. Anthony Mark Emocling is an only son with two sisters who, at 10 years old, lost his sight. The mother, Angela, has since been his support in attending school and taking the Bar Exam.

In recognition of his academic achievements and for being an inspiration to PWDs, SM City Baguio awarded him with a plaque certificate and a laptop that will replace his old gadget.

According to him, this will serve as a big help in continuing his endeavours.

Furthermore, SM City Baguio offered to treat his family to a day of RnR as both of his parents are working—his father as a taxi driver and his mother as a longganisa seller.

SM Cares, the corporate social responsibility arm of SM Supermalls, supports Atty. Emocling and all PWDs in realizing their aspirations, promoting inclusion, and bringing a positive impact to the communities they belong to.
